Inclusion & Diversity through chess

Youth Exchange for Chess enthusiasts.

 

For this project, we will use chess, a game or sport played all over the world for centuries. Through different games, activities, workshops, and communicative exchanges, we will address current issues in society and values.

The goal is that through these non-formal educational activities, the young participants will exchange ideas, design methods for inclusion and diversity, and propose creative solutions to combat situations of inequality and discrimination.

 

To be selected for participation in this project, a minimum chess skill level will be required

Participant profile:

  • 4 participants from Estonia 18-30 y.o. + 1 experienced group leader 18+;

  • Minimum chess skill;

  • Interested and motivated about the main topic;

  • Able to participate the whole project;

  • Ready to participate in dissemination activities during and after the project.

  • Participants who are motivated to contribute and learn during the project;

  • Enough level of English to communicate.

There is a participation fee of 25€ in this project.
