Galician Whispers: 
fostering diversity through tales and legends

"Galician Whispers: fostering diversity through tales and legends" is a project born out of the curiosity and passion for exploring legends, ancient traditions and fairytales as a way of reflecting on the common values that unite us.

The main objectives of the project are:

  • Deepening the understanding of “diversity”, “tolerance” and “intercultural communication” through non-formal education;

  • To learn how to combat cultural prejudices and stereotypes;

  • To discover how popular stories and legends influence psychology and nowadays society.

Participant profile:

  • participants 18-30 y.o. (1 group leader + 5 participants);

  • Enthusiastic, interested in the topic and aware that we will be living in a rural area;

  • Participants who are motivated to contribute and learn during the project;

  • Able to participate the whole project;

  • A basic level of English to communicate;

  • Open to exchange experiences with participants from other cultures.

There is a participation fee of 20€ in this project.
