Adventure Through Seasons
Adventure Through Seasons (ATS) is an Erasmus+ Training Course designed for youth workers, trainers, and facilitators who want to strengthen their competence in outdoor education & adventure-based learning.
Participants will explore practical methods for organizing safe & engaging outdoor activities in different seasons and environments, combining experiential learning, peer exchange, and real outdoor practice in the mountains and fjords surrounding Volda.
Objectives:

To strengthen the competence of youth workers in outdoor education;

To promote year-round outdoor learning practices in youth work;

To improve safety and risk-management skills in outdoor activities;

To support youth mental wellbeing through nature-based activities;
-
To develop inclusive facilitation methods for mixed-ability groups;
-
To promote environmental awareness & responsible outdoor behavior;
-
To strengthen cooperation & knowledge exchange between youth organizations;
-
To co-create a Trainer Micro-Toolkit with practical outdoor education tools & methods.
Participant profile:
-
2 participants from Estonia 23-45 y.o.;
-
Youth workers, trainers or facilitators, NGO staff members, volunteers involved in youth work;
-
Have personal experience in outdoor activities and feel comfortable in mountain & nature environments;
-
Motivated to implement outdoor activities in their organization;
-
Ready to share experience and learn from others
-
Committed to actively participate in all phases and activities of the project (including dissemination);
-
Able to participate the whole project;
-
A basic level of English to communicate.
