Today we are going to share with you an incredible 8-day Erasmus+ Youth Exchange in Lithuania where 36 young people from 6 countries including Estonia united at "Pas Rapola" homestead 🏡
During the project Green Peace In Green Peace Out participants were challenged to become aware of their daily habits and transform them, awake their loving capacity and let it be guided by Nature, a trial was given to a plant-based diet, while exploring mindfulness, yoga, meditation and inner practises 🧘🏻♀️
Participants explored the vital themes of self-discovery, sustainable living, and deep connection. From energizing workshops, forest walks, yoga, and discussions on the meat industry's environmental impact, to intercultural nights celebrating our diversity, each day brought new insights, friendships, and memorable experiences 🌍🤝✨
Day 1 served as the introduction to Lithuanian culture, setting the tone for an unforgettable adventure, while day 2 took us on a transformative journey with ice man breathing exercises, followed by a dance workshop under the radiant sun. An enlightening discussion on the meat industry's environmental impact left us with food for thought, and we concluded the day with a riverside campfire jam session, bonding over music and warmth.
Day 3 greeted us with morning meditation, providing a fresh start for trust-building forest walks and mindful shopping discussions. Participants explored a unique interpretations of images in an eye-opening workshop. Day 4 began with an engaging psychological circle exercise, paving the way for invigorating yoga, cookie-making, and insightful discussions on balanced vegan diets. The evening brought everyone together in a traditional Lithuanian sauna, deepening the connections and shared experiences.
Participants also had a chance to visit a river for a Wim Hof cold exposure ritual, followed by an eventful hike to the nearest city, exploring everything from the region's oldest tree to a local haunted house. We even got a taste of tree planting!
What else? Deep meditation and challenging yoga poses, leading to the creation of workshops for a local school visit!
Watch any plant or animal and let it teach you acceptance of what is, surrender to the Now. Let it teach you Being. Let it teach you integrity – which means to be one, to be yourself, to be real. - Eckhart Tolle“
Thank you, Tavo Veiksmo Partneriai (@ypa_lithuania) and all the participants for this truly enriching experience!
